Matt started acting since seeing Star Wars at age 4. His voice over career began as the morning announcer in high school, where he had the option of pursuing a career in performance or comic book art. He was awarded a full two-year scholarship to a performing arts night school just outside New York City at the age of 16, followed by a 4 year scholarship to The Boston Conservatory. Matt earned his first professional paycheck at 19 in a regional production of Lend Me a Tenor. Beantown also offered him the opportunity to begin his stage and film directing career, as well as his love for broadcasting and journalism as founding editor of his college newspaper. After a few years of gathering credits, he went back to New York.
Matt's film career started with a "three picture deal" for award winning indie director Richard LeMay, where his work garnered him significant "exposure". Many more projects came along bringing Matt to many more festivals, like Sundance, Vienna, SXSW, Toronto, TriBeCa, Austin, London, etc... He hass had guest staring roles in several dramas and sitcoms. His passion for journalism (and especially parody) led to a hosting job at The Onion Sports Network, first online with The Steam Room, then onto prime time cable with Comedy Central's The Onion SportsDome, then back online with Get Out of My Face. He is now a regularly featured player at CollegeHumor.com
Matt has been featured in Burn After Reading, One Life to Live and Think Tank, among others projects. In 2015, he has been cast on Devious Maids.
